upsammy
Inspired by cellular processes and microscopic movement, upsammy presents a playful collection of small animated sounds for experimental electronics. Built from mixed-up field recordings, tuned fragments of voice, modular synthesis, and Operator sound design, cellular soliloquies brings tiny pulses, melodic strands, utterings, nodes, and spiking cycles into focus.
upsammy is the project of Thessa Torsing, a producer, DJ, and multidisciplinary artist whose work moves through crystalline melody, intricate rhythm, field recording, and the blurred edge between natural and synthetic environments. With releases on Nous’klaer Audio, AD93, Die Orakel, PAN, Dekmantel, and topo2, her music opens vivid spaces shaped by micro textures, organic detail, and exploratory electronics.
